Personnel

The Ladies’ Captain for 2026 is Lyn Gridley. To get in touch with Lyn please visit the Club’s contact page.

The Ladies’ Section at Taunton & Pickeridge enjoys an enthusiastic and dedicated membership. We welcome female golfers of all ages and abilities, offering a wide range of competitions and social occasions for our members to enjoy.

The Ladies' section also has a great record of achievements at County level and participate in annual league and County knockout matches each year.

The clubs' friendly matches offer opportunities for those who wish to gain experience of match play by teaming up with another experienced member.

We would love to welcome more junior girls to the club - there must be another budding Nelly Korda out there somewhere!

Lots of ways to enjoy your golf at T&P.

Competitions

The 1st tee is reserved for the Ladies’ Section competitions on Tuesday mornings until 10.30am.   Not everyone can play during the week so the Ladies have an alternate day to play their competition on either a Sunday or Saturday depending on other events booked.

Tees are reserved for major events, such as Club Championship Day, Ladies Captains day and any lady member with a handicap is welcome to enter, with those who don’t wish to be in involved in competitive golf playing after those competing as tee times available.

We regularly play golf with the men, both in mixed competitions and "friendly" matches!  These events are both popular and hugely enjoyable.

These are held throughout the year, offering a great way to play other courses and to enjoy their hospitality. Teams are entered into the following:
