The Ladies’ Section at Taunton & Pickeridge enjoys an enthusiastic and dedicated membership. We welcome female golfers of all ages and abilities, offering a wide range of competitions and social occasions for our members to enjoy.

Competition Day

The 1st tee is reserved for the Ladies’ Section competitions on Tuesday mornings and also on one of the weekend days for 20 minutes. Most weeks’ see a competition being run, with Saturday generally being the alternative day to play  Tees reserved for trophy events. Any lady member with a handicap is welcome to enter, with those who don’t wish to be in involved in competitive golf playing after those competing.

We regularly play golf with the men, both in mixed competitions and some matches. These events are both popular and hugely enjoyable.

Club Matches

These are held throughout the year, offering a great way to play other courses and to enjoy their hospitality. Teams are entered into the following:

  • InterClub League
  • Rogers Cup
  • Wessex League
  • Quantock Salver
  • Centenary Plate
  • Friendly Matches

Social Event Fundraising

Various events are held during the year, including Coffee mornings, Craft Fairs, Quiz Nights often linked with the main club calendar.
